Last fortnight's query of 7 years old boy with frontal headache, projectile vomiting, fever and generalized tonic clonic convulsion followed by altered sensorium. MRI suggestive of space occupying lesions. What is the diagnosis? Most of the readers have suggested Tuberculosis. The authors reply that the child responded to Anti-tuberculous therapy.

A 6 years old boy presents with Dengue Shock Syndrome. He was treated with normal saline boluses and IV fluids (4 cc/kg/hour) which was gradually increased to 10 cc/kg/hour in view of increasing PCV and oliguria and hypotension. Subsequently the child developed pulmonary edema and required ventilatory support. How should fluids be managed in DSS?
