Question Category : Skin infections
My 7 year old son has developed a cluster of what look like little blisters on his arm. I thought they were warts as he has some on his hands but they have become itchy and he has now developed some more on his back, and a couple on his face. They are a white/cream colour and just look like a little blister. He is scratching them and they are becoming red and sore. My doctor didn't seem to know what they are.

My 10 year nephew has recently developed molluscum contagiousum on his back. We have tried taking the top layer off and then putting betadine on it - but now the Dr. says that we have to inject iodine into it - is there any other less painful way to handle this. Also it says something about this could last for life is this right?

Dear sir, My son 26 yrs old now has frequent attack of boils in different parts of body since last one year as he has moved from Mumbai to Kalkata. It remains very painful as well as lot of pus comes out when compressed by warm wet cotton. Antibiotics are given to him as prescribed. It cures him that time but it reappears after 3/4 months. What may be the cause? Is it due to Allergy or bacterial infection? How to prevent it?
Question Category : Skin infections
My 4 year old was recently diagnosed with Molluscum contagiousum. After visiting a dermatologist, who cut all of the "pimple like" spots open and then scraped them we have noticed that they are still present. Is the only option to have this done cutting and scraping again? It was painful for my son and obviously the dermatologist was hasty and even missed several of the spots. (I plan to see a different dermatologist.) Thank you for any information....
