Our 6 year old son is wetting is pants at night (just before morning) and sometimes during the day. My husband and I wewre wondering if a child of that age has a prostate that could be swollen or if the prostate grows later in life?
Answer
Wetting of pants in a 6 year old both at night and day requuires evaluation for causes such as urine infection, kidney disease, diabetes mellitus etc. Consult a doctor for the same. If all reports are normal, he may need bladder training exercise for same. Also prostrate does not cause a problem at this age. Back to All Questions
